Future Vision Communications, a UAE-based ELV and ICT solutions company, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman / Engineering Coordinator to support our engineering and project teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD drafting skills along with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for preparing project documentation, reports, and engineering records. Experience in ELV, Electrical, MEP, Telecom, or Building Services projects will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and project layouts.
- Support engineers in preparing technical submissions and project documentation.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document records.
- Prepare project trackers, reports, and schedules using Microsoft Excel.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, material schedules, and quantity take-offs.
- Support preparation of O&M manuals, handover documents, and closeout documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Organize and maintain engineering files and project records.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting or engineering coordination.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to prepare professional reports and technical documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in ELV, CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, MEP, Telecom, or Electrical projects will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
