Job Summary:
The Store Keeper is responsible for managing the hotel’s inventory, ensuring proper storage, issuing materials to departments, and maintaining accurate stock records. The role ensures smooth operations by maintaining adequate stock levels and minimizing wastage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock
- Conduct regular physical stock verification (daily/weekly/monthly)
2. Receiving & Inspection
- Verify quantity and quality of goods received as per purchase orders
- Check for damages, expiry dates, and discrepancies
- Coordinate with purchase team for any issues in supplies
3. Storage & Organization
- Ensure proper storage of food items, beverages, housekeeping supplies, and other materials
- Follow FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry First Out) methods
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of store areas
4. Issuing Materials
- Issue stock to departments (Kitchen, Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc.) as per requisitions
- Maintain proper documentation for all issued materials
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and inventory software (if applicable)
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports
- Assist in audit and stock reconciliation
6. Coordination
- Work closely with purchase, kitchen, and other departments
- Support in demand forecasting and stock planning
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 12th pass / Graduate preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in hotel/store management
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, inventory software)
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Knowledge of food safety and storage standards
- Honest, detail-oriented, and responsible
Working Conditions:

Additional Requirements (Preferred):
- Experience in hospitality industry
- Knowledge of inventory systems like IDS, SAP, or similar
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
