Responsibilities
- Designing - sheet metal, Weldment, Surface Modelling, Moulding.
- Generate detailed drawings for parts and assembly with suitable GD&T.
- Responsible for planning, Designing and developing new prototypes.
- Ability to translate design concepts into physical objects.
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) for the projects.
- Analyse new components, materials and technologies to make better products with minimal cost.
- Review prototypes and perform tests and finalise product design to facilitate mass production
- Root cause analysis
- Redesigning existing products to enhance functionality or reduce cost
- Preparation, review and control of internal technical documents
- Coordinating with planning department, manufacturing department along with Quality department.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in NPD
- Sound knowledge in Solid works / AutoCAD
- Hands-on experience in drafting, detailing, modelling, surfacing and concept designing
- Specialising in all type of Metal & Plastics
- Specialised in all the fabrication technologies like cutting, forming, punching, stamping, shearing & welding
- Knowledge in material selection
- Knowledge in electromechanical system
- Cost Reduction in Product & Tooling
- DFM/DFS/DFA & DFMEA and Load test analysis
- Six Sigma and 5S
- VA / VE
- GD&T & Stack up analysis
Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
