Job Description:
The HVAC Design Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and developing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role includes preparing design calculations, equipment selection, duct sizing, and ensuring systems comply with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems including ducting, ventilation, and air conditioning layouts.
- Perform load calculations and equipment selection.
- Prepare HVAC drawings using software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Coordinate with project teams, architects, and engineers.
- Ensure designs comply with safety standards and energy efficiency guidelines.
- Review project specifications and provide technical support during installation.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles and standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or HVAC design software.
- Understanding of load calculation and duct sizing.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in HVAC design or related field (Freshers with HVAC training may also apply).
