Job Summary
The Cutlist Executive is responsible for preparing accurate cutlists, optimizing material utilization, and generating production-ready drawings for modular furniture manufacturing. The role ensures efficient use of materials, minimizes wastage, and supports smooth production planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cutlists for modular furniture components based on approved designs.
- Generate panel-wise cutting details, edge banding details, and hardware requirements.
- Optimize sheet layouts to maximize material utilization and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and procurement teams to ensure accuracy of dimensions and specifications.
- Verify drawings, dimensions, and material specifications before releasing cutlists to production.
- Maintain records of cutlists, material consumption, and revisions.
- Assist in production planning by providing cutting schedules and material requirements.
- Resolve production-related issues arising from cutlist or drawing discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing processes.
- Monitor material yields and suggest improvements for cost optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in modular furniture manufacturing or woodworking industry.
- Knowledge of modular furniture construction, materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and cutlist optimization software.
- Understanding of plywood, MDF, particle board, laminates, and edge banding requirements.

Reporting To: Production Manager / Factory Manager / Operations Manager.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
