Job Description:
We are looking for a Technical Support & Field Deployment Engineer responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining applications on our devices. The role involves remote troubleshooting, customer coordination, and occasional travel to customer locations to resolve device and application issues.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure applications on Android/mobile/tablet devices and other customer hardware
- Perform device setup, application configuration, testing, and deployment at customer locations
- Provide remote technical support through calls, remote access tools, and troubleshooting sessions
- Coordinate with customers/users to understand issues and provide timely solutions
- Diagnose application, network, device, and configuration-related problems
- Visit customer locations when remote resolution is not possible
- Maintain deployment checklists and installation documentation
- Monitor deployed devices and ensure applications are running properly
- Collect issue details, logs, screenshots, and coordinate with internal development teams
- Perform software updates, device replacements, and preventive maintenance
- Prepare support reports and maintain issue tracking
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Android devices and mobile applications
- Experience installing APKs and configuring Android settings
- Understanding of WiFi, mobile networks, IP basics, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Good communication skills for customer interaction
- Ability to travel to customer locations when required
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to work in field environments
Preferred:
- Experience in field support / desktop support / application deployment
- Knowledge of Android Enterprise / MDM tools
- Basic Linux or server troubleshooting knowledge
- Experience with ticketing tools
Educational Qualifications: Diploma / Any bachelor degree
Pay: From ₹166,342.00 per year
