About the Role
iTutormind is seeking passionate and experienced English Tutors to teach students from Grades 9–12 following International Curriculums such as IGCSE, IB, Cambridge, Common Core, or equivalent.
This role is ideal for educators who can build strong foundations in English Language and Literature, develop students' analytical and communication skills, and create engaging, interactive, and student-centered learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live, interactive online English classes for Grades 9–12.
- Teach English Language and Literature in accordance with international curriculum requirements.
- Develop students' reading, writing, comprehension, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Guide students in essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature analysis.
- Prepare students for assignments, examinations, and assessments.
- Create an engaging and supportive virtual classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching strategies according to individual student needs.
- Maintain professionalism and effective communication with students and parents when required.
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory)
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English – Mandatory
- Master of Arts (M.A.) in English – Mandatory
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience for Grades 9–12.
- Strong understanding of English Language and Literature concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to engage and mentor high school students effectively.
- Comfortable using online teaching platforms and digital tools.
- Experience teaching International Curriculum students (IGCSE, IB, Cambridge, Common Core, etc.) will be preferred.
- Must have a personal laptop and stable internet connection.
