Key Performance Indicators:
- Staff management: Oversee and train staff, including OT technicians and CSSD technicians
- Safety and regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards
- Surgical schedules: Coordinate surgical schedules
- Asset Management: Maintain equipment and inventory, including managing stock levels and reporting on understocked or overstocked items
- Budget and resource management: Manage budgets and resources
- Risk management: Implement risk management and health and safety policies
- Cross department Workflow: Coordinate closely with ICU and wards.
- Program development: Assess, develop, and implement new evidence-based programs of care.
- Documentation: Ensure all surgical checklist, consents, surgery registers and clinical records are documented
- Accreditation oversight: Holds primary accountability for maintaining NABH audit compliances

**Candidates from nursing background are desired.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITY AS INCHARGE
- Maintaining the sterilization of Operation Theater.
- Sterilization of the instruments.
- Assisting Doctors for surgery and various procedures performed in Operation Theater.
- (Cataract, Retina, DCR, DCT, Glaucoma and other miscellaneous surgical procedure)
- Pre and Post - Operative Care of Patients.
- Maintaining the stock of IOL, OT Consumables, etc.,
- Checking the expiry of drugs used in Operation Theater periodically.
- Sending short expiry IOL and Medicines to Main Stores.
- Maintaining the Operation Theater Registers. (IOL Register, OT Consumables, Material Inward Register, Surgery Register, Sterilization Register, etc.,)
- Maintaining Sterilization Report.
- Maintaining OT Culture Report
- Managing workflow
- Training new hires
- Creating and managing team schedules
- Reporting to senior management.
- Evaluating performance and providing feedback.
