Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive QA/QC Manager to lead our Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions. The role involves managing a team of 4 members, ensuring product quality, food safety compliance, and implementing robust quality systems across manufacturing and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities: Quality & Food Safety Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality management systems (HACCP, GMP, GHP, SOPs)
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 4 QA/QC executives
- Allocate daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure team productivity
- Conduct training sessions on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
Audit & Compliance
- Plan and conduct internal audits and ensure audit readiness
- Handle external audits (FSSAI, third-party, client audits)
- Maintain proper documentation and records for compliance
Process Improvement
- Identify quality gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Work closely with production and operations teams to improve product quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Retail & Store Quality Oversight
- Monitor quality and hygiene standards across retail outlets (Nothing But Chicken stores)
- Ensure proper cold chain management and storage practices
- Conduct store audits and ensure SOP compliance
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain QA/QC reports, MIS, and quality metrics
- Analyze trends and prepare reports for management review
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSAI regulations
- Leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent documentation and audit handling skills
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Dairy Technology or related field
Experience:
- 4–8 years of experience in QA/QC in the food industry
- Prior experience in team handling (minimum 3–5 members preferred)
- Experience in both manufacturing and retail food operations is an added advantage

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
