Summary:
In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration, overseeing system integrations, and coordinating release activities. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards to ensure the solution remains stable and performs efficiently while aligning with both business objectives and vendor requirements. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive the evolution of the platform is a key aspect of daily responsibilities, ensuring the solution adapts to changing needs and technological advancements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance solution quality and delivery.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Expertise in BPA, BTP, and SAP S/4HANA integration.
- Strong technical and analytical skills for workflow design and troubleshooting.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and support technical solutions.
- Design and implement invoice automation workflows using SAP BPA
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on BPA implementation and best practices
- Collaborate with Product Owner on requirements and technical feasibility
- Manage system integrations between mailbox, BPA, and S/4HANA
- Ensure quality, security, and optimization of automation solutions
- Document processes and transfer knowledge to operations teams
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP Build Process Automation.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
