STCW Course Finder helps seafarers and maritime students find and book STCW/Competency courses. We are hiring a Telecaller/Course Counsellor who can call leads, guide them for course booking, and secure confirmations by coordinating with colleges/institutes. Strong calling skills + good computer knowledge is a must.
Responsibilities
- Call and follow up with leads generated from website/WhatsApp/forms (inbound + outbound).
- Understand candidate requirement (course, city, dates, eligibility, budget).
- Give clear guidance on STCW/Competency course options, documents, batch dates and booking process.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings (closing + follow-ups + objection handling).
- Coordinate with colleges/institutes to confirm seat availability, batch, fee details, and booking confirmation.
- Update lead details and follow-ups on Excel/Google Sheets/CRM.
- Send confirmations and instructions to candidates via WhatsApp/email.
- Maintain daily report: calls made, follow-ups done, bookings confirmed.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills (Hindi + basic English preferred).
- Confident on phone calls; comfortable with targets and follow-ups.
- Good computer knowledge: WhatsApp Web, email, Excel/Google Sheets, basic internet tools.
- Ability to handle customer doubts and close bookings professionally.
- Experience in telecalling/education counselling/sales is a plus (not mandatory).
- Maritime/STCW knowledge is a plus; training will be provided.
