Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Executive to drive business growth for our Corporate Training division. The ideal candidate should be confident in engaging with senior decision-makers, generating qualified leads, and converting opportunities into corporate training assignments.
This role requires proactive outreach to HR professionals, Learning & Development teams, Safety Heads, Plant Heads, Operations Heads, Business Leaders, and CXOs across industries to build long-term business relationships and secure training engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research prospective corporate clients across manufacturing, IT, pharma, logistics, BFSI, healthcare, retail, engineering, and other industries.
- Generate qualified leads through cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, networking, referrals, and other business development channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with HR Heads, L&D Managers, Safety Heads, Plant Heads, Operations Leaders, CXOs, and business owners.
- Schedule meetings, discovery calls, and presentations with prospective clients.
- Understand client challenges and recommend suitable corporate training solutions.
- Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and support the closure of training assignments.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups using CRM or lead management tools.
- Collaborate with the training team to ensure seamless project execution.
- Generate repeat business by nurturing existing client relationships.
- Monitor industry trends, identify new market opportunities, and contribute ideas for business expansion.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business development targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, proposals, conversions, and revenue generated.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in B2B Business Development, Corporate Sales, or Corporate Training Sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation abilities.
- Experience in cold email campaigns and LinkedIn outreach.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to independently manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Strong follow-up skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment before transitioning to an office setup.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and CRM tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Corporate Sales, Training Sales, HR Consulting, Recruitment Services, or related industries.
