Junior WordPress & Shopify Developer
We are looking for a skilled WordPress & Shopify Developer with 0–2 years of experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining websites and e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of both frontend and backend development and be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and Shopify themes/sections
- Work with Shopify Liquid, custom sections, and app integrations
- Implement responsive UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
- Develop custom website functionality and integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways
- Perform product uploading, website data management, and content updates
- Manage regular blog updates and website content changes
- Handle website migration, including hosting, domain, files, databases, and DNS-related tasks
- Assist with website backups, restoration, and server/hosting-related activities
- Debug website issues and troubleshoot technical problems
- Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and security
- Coordinate with senior developers, clients, vendors, and API providers when required
- Participate in requirement gathering, development, testing, UAT, and QA
- Maintain proper documentation and follow coding and development best practices
- Work on multiple projects and adapt to different technologies, platforms, and client requirements
- Be flexible to learn and work on new tools, plugins, apps, technologies, and development practices
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete them within defined timelines
- Stay updated with new WordPress, Shopify, web development, and e-commerce technologies
Required Skills & Experience
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify development
- Good knowledge of WordPress
- Working knowledge of Shopify, Liquid, custom sections, and app integrations
- Basic to good knowledge of PHP and MySQL
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
- Knowledge of product uploading and website data management
- Experience in regular blog/content updates
- Basic knowledge of domains, hosting, DNS, SSL, FTP/cPanel, and website deployment
- Understanding of website migration and troubleshooting
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a flexible environment and handle different types of tasks
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adopt new tools quickly
- Good communication and coordination skills

- B.E. / B.Tech – Computer Science / IT
- MCA
- BCA
