Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join the AppGallop engineering
team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of enterprise-grade
cloud commerce applications through structured testing processes and close collaboration with development
and product teams. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, test case preparation,
defect tracking, and software quality processes. Candidates with basic coding knowledge in Java and
understanding of enterprise web applications will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and UI testing for enterprise applications
- Create, maintain, and review detailed test cases and test plans
- Identify, track, and validate defects through complete resolution cycles
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams
- Perform end-to-end testing for CRM, CPQ, Marketplace, and Billing applications
- Validate APIs, workflows, and database-driven functionalities
- Conduct smoke testing and release validation before production deployments
- Maintain detailed QA reports and testing status updates
- Ensure applications meet performance and usability standards
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in Software Testing and Manual Testing
- Good understanding of QA processes and SDLC/STLC methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience working on enterprise web applications is preferred
Educational Qualifications
- Technical degree is mandatory
- B.Tech / B.E / MCA or equivalent technical qualification required
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field preferred
Preferred Skills
- Basic coding knowledge in Java is a strong plus
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman
- Familiarity with MySQL or database validation queries
- Understanding of telecom, cloud commerce, SaaS, or subscription-based platforms
- Exposure to automation testing concepts is an added advantage
