The Mission
We are looking for a Cerner Clinical Consultant who lives and breathes patient safety and nursing workflows. Your focus will be on two critical areas: PCM (nursing documentation and care plans) and Bridge (barcode medication and specimen tracking).
We don't just need someone who can follow a build guide; we need someone who understands why a nurse needs a specific alert at 3:00 AM and how to configure Cerner to make their life easier, not harder.
What You’ll Be Doing
- The "Bridge" Expert: You’ll be the lead for Cerner Bridge Medical, ensuring that barcode medication administration (BCMA), specimen collection are rock solid.
- PCM Optimization: You will refine Clinical Patient Care Management (PCM) workflows—everything from iView and PowerForms to dynamic documentation and clinical task lists.
- Problem Solving: When the frontline staff hits a wall with the system, you’re the one who dives into Bedrock or DCPTools to find the fix.
- Integration & Safety: Ensuring that the "Positive Patient Identification" (PPID) workflows actually prevent errors without creating "alert fatigue" for the clinical team.
- Remote Collaboration: Working closely with hospital IT teams and clinical leadership to validate builds and lead remote testing sessions.
Your Toolkit
- Cerner Millennium Mastery: You have years of experience with the build tools (Bedrock, CoreEventManager, etc.).
- Specialized Knowledge: You’ve specifically owned the Bridge and PCM modules in at least 2–3 full-lifecycle implementations or major optimizations.
- Clinical Context: You likely come from a clinical background (RN or Informatics) or have spent enough time in hospitals to understand acute care workflows.
- Communication: You can talk to a software engineer and a Chief Nursing Officer in the same hour and speak both their languages.
Pay: ₹105,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per year
