About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Business Analyst with 6–8 years of experience in the IT industry, preferably within the IT Services sector, working with Australian clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong business analysis skills, excellent communication abilities, and a sound understanding of software development processes.
The candidate will act as a bridge between clients and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, solutions are aligned with business objectives, and project estimations are realistic and achievable.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct requirement elicitation sessions, workshops, and meetings with clients, especially Australian stakeholders.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, QA teams, and designers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and validate technical solutions proposed by development teams.
- Assess and challenge effort estimations provided by technical teams to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and alignment with project scope.
- Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and recommend suitable solutions.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement prioritization activities.
- Participate in UAT and ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
- Manage multiple client engagements and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Required Skills & ExperienceMust-Have:
- 6–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry.
- Prior experience working in an IT Services company.
- Hands-on experience working with Australian clients/stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and evaluate whether development effort estimates are reasonable and justified.
- Experience in preparing BRD, FRD, user stories, process maps, and wireframes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to work in the Australian shift.
Preferred:
- Experience with web and mobile application projects.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to project estimation techniques and resource planning.
- Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and modern digital solutions will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
