Job Summary:
As an SAP S4HANA SD consultant, you will be responsible for assisting in various projects related to SAP SD Support tasks. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals and business stakeholders to support SAP SD issue resolution and provide the necessary solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Incident & change request resolution, and maintaining the SAP S4HANA SD module
· Proven ability to meet SLAs, resolve high-priority tickets ensuring timely communication and SLA adherence for support ticket
· Ability to provide solutions and close system enhancements
· Experience in working on tools such as Solution Manager / HP ALM, Serve Now
· Testing: Creating test data, running tests, and creating and executing test scripts
· Continuous improvement: Monitoring system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending enhancements
· Feasibility verification: Verifying the feasibility of the developed model
· An SAP SD specialist needs to have in-depth knowledge of SAP SD functionalities, and integration with other SAP modules.
· Bring in strong business process knowledge on SD processes and integration with cross modules like Production Planning, Material Management, Quality Management and SCM
· Ensure effective communication to all stake holders (Business, PMO office, Client Partner etc.) from scope, Risks and Business Impacts perspective
· Conduct regular project portfolio Integration meetings, ensure all developments follow standards
· Ability to create User training materials and conduct training with business user.
· Collaborate with senior team members to analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD solution.
· Assist in the development and configuration of SAP S/4 HANA SD module to support Sales, Delivery and Invoicing processes in S/4HANA as also integration with 3rd party Sales / Logistics applications
· Work with other team members to ensure project deliverables and deadlines are met.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD module, ensuring continuous system performance.
· Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates, progress, and provide insights for process improvements.
· Assist in preparing user training documentation and conducting end-user training sessions.
· Support data migration activities, including validation, reconciliation, and testing.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree
· Minimum 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA Support experience
· Hands-on functional configuration and design experience with SAP S/4HANA Support
· Work with business users to gather requirements specific to Sales / logistics processes
· Lead requirements gathering workshops – presenting standard SAP process flows, conduct system demonstrations, and providing insight on how standard SAP processes can support a customers’ business process.
· Configure SAP systems, test new functionality, and provide on-going support based on requirements collected.
· Research and document current business processes and provide process improvement recommendations to the business
· Support cross-functional business processes in Manufacturing Industry.
· Knowledge of end-to-end sales processes across manufacturing industry, including integration with 3rd party applications.
· Coordination with integration team, enable electronic order capture, delivery and invoicing
· Good business process knowledge/ Manufacturing Domain
· Provide leadership in planning/sequencing of customer workshops, and conduct workshops
· Maintain a high level of functional competency regarding the standard configuration of the Finance and Controlling areas, by staying abreast of new trends, future enhancements and leveraging best practices.
· Develop and/or modify End User Training Documentation
