About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Protection Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in designing complete fire protection systems for industrial and commercial projects, including power plants, coal handling plants, cement plants, steel plants, mining projects, ports, material handling systems, warehouses, and high-rise/commercial buildings.
The candidate should possess strong knowledge of TAC Guidelines, National Building Code (NBC), relevant IS Codes, and preferably NFPA and FM Global standards. Experience working on projects for leading EPC companies such as NTPC, BHEL, L&T, Adani, Tata Projects, ThyssenKrupp, JSW, Vedanta, Reliance, Jindal, or similar organizations will be highly preferred.
This position requires the ability to independently execute complete fire protection engineering—from concept design through detailed engineering, hydraulic calculations, client coordination, and final drawing approval.

- Ensure compliance with TAC, NBC, applicable IS Codes, DGMS requirements (where applicable), client specifications, and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, and Instrumentation disciplines.
- Attend client meetings and resolve technical queries.
- Review vendor drawings and technical submittals.
- Support estimation, tendering, procurement, and project execution teams until final approval.
Required Technical SkillsMandatory
- Excellent command of AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of TAC Guidelines.
- Sound understanding of NBC (Fire & Life Safety).
- Working knowledge of applicable IS Codes.
- Experience in industrial fire protection engineering.
- Hydraulic calculations.
- Fire water demand calculations.
- Pump selection and sizing.
- Pipe sizing and pressure loss calculations.
- Water spray nozzle selection.
- Deluge valve sizing.
- BOQ preparation.
- Technical documentation and engineering calculations.
- Good understanding of industrial piping layouts.
Preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA Standards.
- Knowledge of FM Global Guidelines.
- DGMS fire protection requirements for coal mines.
- Experience with hydraulic calculation software.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP and Navisworks.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- B.E./B.Tech in Fire Engineering
- B.E./B.Tech in MEP Engineering
OR
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with exceptional industrial fire protection design experience.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial fire protection design experience.
- Candidates with 8–12 years of experience will be given preference.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
