Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Senior Jewellery CAD Designer specializing in precision and organic/sculptural modeling. You will turn sketches and concepts into production-ready 3D models while balancing aesthetics with manufacturing feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D jewellery models using Rhino / MatrixGold combined with Clayoo or ZBrush.
- Optimize designs for production (prongs, metal thickness, casting limits, and weight estimation).
- Prepare flawless STL/3DM files for 3D printing (CAM).
- Calculate precise diamond/gemstone counts, millimeter sizes, and carat weights.
- Collaborate with production and manual design teams to refine master pieces.
Mandatory Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- ✔ 3+ years of experience in Jewellery/Diamond CAD design.
- ✔ Expertise in Rhino / MatrixGold + strong skills in Clayoo or ZBrush
- ✔ Deep understanding of jewellery manufacturing, casting, and setting types (pave, prong, bezel, etc.).
- ✔ Ability to accurately estimate metal and stone weights.
- ✔ Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel for basic design data tracking.
