Role & responsibilities
- Overall Store Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and personnel.
- Ensure the store meets sales targets and profitability goals.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
- Set performance standards and conduct performance evaluations.
- Motivate and coach team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively and in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and order new items as necessary.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper stock rotation.
- Visual Merchandising:
- Oversee visual merchandising and ensure the store is maintained according to company guidelines.
- Implement and maintain visual displays that enhance the brand image.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the store budget and control expenses.
- Monitor and analyze sales and expenses to optimize profitability.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean store environment for employees and customers.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar managerial role in retail.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of retail management best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and point of sale (POS) systems.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or relevant field is a plus.
