1. Guest Room Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities.
- Dust, polish furniture, and vacuum carpets.
- Clean mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces.
- Replenish guest supplies (toiletries, tea/coffee, stationery).
- Report any maintenance defects, damage, or lost-and-found items immediately to the supervisor.
- Ensure all room equipment (TV, AC, lights, safe) is functioning properly.
2. Public Area & Convention Centre Cleaning:
- Clean and maintain assigned public areas such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, stairways, and restrooms.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of convention halls, meeting rooms, and banquet areas.
- Ensure high-traffic areas are consistently tidy, litter-free, and presentable.
- Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces like door handles, railings, and elevator buttons frequently.
3. Linen & Laundry Handling:
- Collect used linen and towels from guest floors.
- Handle clean and soiled linen as per hygiene standards.
- Assist in monitoring linen stocks and reporting shortages.
4. Guest Service & Safety:
- Greet guests warmly and respectfully in corridors and public areas.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for housekeeping services (e.g., extra pillows, ironing board).
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of guest rooms and belongings.
- Adhere to all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures (including fire safety).
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely as per training.
5. Teamwork & Efficiency:
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned rooms and areas within scheduled shifts.
- Work cooperatively with team members and other departments (Maintenance, Front Office).
- Attend daily briefings and training sessions.
- Maintain the housekeeping cart, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and orderly fashion
