Shift Timings:- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Work Mode – 3 days WFO Mandatory
Location :- Hyderabad
Notice Period :- Upto 15 days.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Big Data Engineer with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale data platforms. The role involves working with Oracle Big Data technologies, Hadoop ecosystems, and Oracle Cloud integrations to build scalable and high-performing data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, configure, and administer Big Data (BDA) environments.
· Perform installation, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning of BDA components.
· Integrate BDA with Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and other data sources.
· Manage and support the Hadoop ecosystem — HDFS, Hive, HBase, Spark, Kafka, Oozie, and Sqoop.
· Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability across distributed environments.
· Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to support ETL, data pipelines, and reporting.
· Automate operational tasks through shell scripting , Python and Spark.
· Implement and manage security, backup, and data recovery for big data environments.
· Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize big data workloads for performance and efficiency.
· Scheduling with Airflow DAG.
Required Skills
· 5+ years of hands-on experience in Big Data administration and support.
· Strong understanding of Hadoop ecosystems (Cloudera/Hortonworks).
· Proficiency in Linux administration, shell scripting, and Python.
· Experience with Oracle Database, Big Data SQL, No SQL, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), OBIEE or GoldenGate.
· Familiarity with data lake architecture, data governance, and security best practices.
· Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting in big data environments.
· Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar cloud platforms.
· Knowledge on other ETL tools (Talend / Informatica etc.)
· Knowledge of Oracle EBS data flow into BDA instance.
· Experience working with Oracle Analytics Products (OBIEE, OAC , BI Apps, OAS)
Preferred Qualifications
· Oracle Certified Professional – Oracle Big Data or Oracle Database certification.
· Experience with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).
· Exposure to machine learning or data science frameworks.
· Prior experience in cloud migration or hybrid architecture projects.
· Experience working with Oracle BI apps or other Oracle Analytics related projects.
Education
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hyderabad, Telangana (Hyderabad District)
