We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic SEO Intern to support our digital marketing team in improving our online presence and search engine visibility. This internship offers hands-on experience in SEO, website optimization, and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in keyword research related to event management services and industry trends.
- Support the optimization of website pages, meta titles, meta descriptions, images, and content for search engines.
- Assist with on-page SEO updates to improve website rankings and user experience.
- Help monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Conduct basic SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in optimizing blog content, landing pages, and event pages for better search visibility.
- Support backlink research and off-page SEO activities.
- Monitor keyword rankings and prepare basic SEO performance reports.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, tools, and search engine algorithm updates.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing team on ongoing SEO initiatives and campaigns.
Requirements
- Completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or keyword research tools is an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO.
- Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
