- Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in servicing analytical instruments.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer with strong expertise in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of analytical instruments.
Some part of tendering work i.e. to prepare techno-commercial Documents.(Initial Training will be provided)
The candidate should also be capable of supporting tender preparation, technical documentation, and customer demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities Service & Technical Support
- Install, commission, calibrate, and maintain analytical and quality testing instruments.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot instrument faults at customer sites.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Conduct instrument demonstrations, user training, and application support.
- Prepare service reports and maintain service records.
- Coordinate with OEMs and customers for technical support and spare parts.
- Travel across India for installation and service assignments.
Tendering & Documentation
- Review tender documents and technical specifications.
- Prepare technical compliance statements and bid documentation.
- Coordinate with the sales team for tender submissions.
- Prepare supporting documents.
- Assist in pre-bid and post-bid technical clarifications.
- Maintain records of tenders, service contracts, and warranty documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of analytical instruments such as:
- TGA
- Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES)
- XRF / WDXRF
- XRD
- ICP-OES / ICP-MS
- FTIR
- UV-Vis Spectrophotometer
- Gas Chromatography (GC)
- HPLC (preferred)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in technical documentation and tender preparation.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in analytical instruments.
- Experience in servicing laboratory and industrial analytical equipment.
- Knowledge of GeM, eProcurement portals, and tender documentation will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships effectively.
