On-Site Execution & Management
- Trade Coordination: Supervise and schedule various specialized teams (e.g., carpenters, painters, drywall installers, electricians, and plumbers).
- Work Progress: Ensure daily on-site activities align with the project timeline to prevent delays and meet deadlines.
- Site Discipline: Enforce site rules, working hours, and professional conduct among laborers and subcontractors.
Material & Inventory Control
- Procurement: Track material consumption, identify requirements, and raise requisitions in advance to avoid work stoppages.
- Finishing Standards: Monitor ongoing workmanship, paying close attention to details like alignment, leveling, and joint finishes.
Safety & Compliance
- PPE Enforcement: Ensure all workers and visitors wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Defect Rectification: Identify flaws or deviations from the design early and instruct workers to execute immediate corrective action to avoid rework.
- Snagging: Lead final walk-throughs to compile and clear "snag lists" (defects/incomplete tasks) before client handovers. [1, 2, 3, 4]
