St. Thomas Public School invites applications from passionate, energetic, and fluent English speakers for the position of Spoken English Teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop students' spoken English, pronunciation, vocabulary, and communication skills.
- Plan, design, and implement a structured Spoken English curriculum across different grade levels, ensuring age-appropriate progression in vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency, grammar, conversation skills, public speaking, and communication confidence.
- Conduct engaging and interactive speaking sessions for students across different age groups.
- Use creative teaching methodologies, role-plays, storytelling, group discussions, debates, presentations, and language games to make learning enjoyable and effective.
- Build students' confidence in public speaking, conversation, and interpersonal communication.
- Assess students' language development and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with teachers to foster an English-speaking environment across the school through language enrichment activities and initiatives.
Eligibility:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in English, ELT, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Excellent spoken and written English with clear pronunciation and strong communication skills.
- Prior teaching or Spoken English training experience is preferred.
- Strong classroom management, creativity, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for nurturing confident communicators and lifelong learners.
