About the Role
Sudeep Nutrition Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance to strengthen our Quality Management Systems and ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and certification requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Conduct line clearance and ensure adherence to approved manufacturing and packaging procedures.
- Review and approve quality-related documents, SOPs, specifications, protocols, and reports.
- Ensure effective implementation of CAPA, Change Control, Deviations, and Risk Assessments.
- Oversee in-process quality checks and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, Warehouse, and Engineering departments for quality improvements.
- Monitor product quality trends and initiate corrective actions where required.
- Lead internal audits and support external, customer, and certification audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance gaps.
- Review batch manufacturing records, quality records, and related documentation.
- Maintain quality documentation as per regulatory and company requirements.
- Supervise and guide QA Executives, Officers, and Apprentices.
- Conduct training programs on GMP, Food Safety, Quality Systems, and SOP compliance.
- Ensure development and competency enhancement of team members.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management review.
- Support new product development and process validation activities from a QA perspective.
Requirements
- 7 to 12 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems and Regulatory Compliance
- Experience handling certification and customer audits
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
