Principal Duties and Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager in Social Services, you will play a critical role in driving client engagements and delivering measurable outcomes. Senior Managers are expected to serve as trusted advisors and domain experts, drive strategic initiatives, and mentor teams to deliver client excellence.

Shape and direct large-scale social services and human services transformation programs across jurisdictions, ensuring alignment with reform priorities, policy mandates, equity goals, and long-term outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.

Act as a strategic advisor to government and agency executives, influencing social services modernization agendas, policy frameworks, operating models, and investment strategies for system improvement.

Sponsor and govern multi-million-dollar programs, providing oversight on delivery excellence, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and value realization across technology, operations, service delivery, and policy workstreams.

Drive innovation in social services by embedding data-driven decision-making, integrated service delivery models, case management modernization, and emerging technologies such as AI and analytics to improve access, efficiency, and client outcomes.

Expand and sustain client relationships at executive and program leadership levels, positioning the firm as a trusted partner in social services transformation, human services modernization, and public sector innovation.

Lead business development initiatives, shaping proposals, solution frameworks, and go-to-market strategies to capture opportunities across social services, human services, and broader public sector domains.

Represent the firm in national and international forums, thought leadership platforms, and inter-agency collaborations, contributing to the discourse on social services reform, digital government, and human-centered service delivery.

Mentor and guide managers and project leaders, fostering expertise in social services programs, policy implementation, operating model design, and digital transformation delivery while strengthening capability within the practice.
Qualifications

MBA from a Tier 1 institution or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
Experience Requirements

12+ years of relevant experience, with a strong track record in Social Services, Human Services, or public sector transformation. At least 5 years dedicated to Social Services strategy, program delivery, operating model design, or policy reform.

Strong understanding of global Social Services trends, policies, service delivery models, and innovations, including integrated human services, digital service delivery, data-driven decision-making, and citizen-centered support.

Hands-on experience in planning and delivering Social Services programs is highly desirable, including initiatives related to benefits administration, case management, workforce services, family support, community services, eligibility, or integrated service delivery.
Industry/Functional Skills (Preferred – Social Services)

Strong command of Social Services policy, governance, and reform agendas, with the ability to align modernization initiatives to federal, state, and local mandates, outcomes-based frameworks, and broader human services priorities.

Advanced capability in enterprise transformation leadership, spanning digital platforms, organizational change, data modernization, workforce enablement, and service delivery redesign across Social Services and Human Services agencies.

Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to agency commissioners, program directors, and multilateral stakeholders, influencing strategy, policy design, operating models, and investment decisions.

Commercial acumen and business development expertise, with a track record of shaping pursuits, winning large-scale Social Services or Human Services engagements, and driving practice growth.

Thought leadership in Social Services and social innovation, demonstrated through research contributions, conference participation, policy forums, and inter-agency collaborations.

Executive-level communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that engage policymakers, funders, agency leaders, community partners, and service delivery stakeholders.

Strong people leadership and mentoring capability, guiding managers and consultants, fostering domain expertise, and building a pipeline of future leaders within the practice.
