We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores. You should be able to create responsive, user-friendly, and high-converting eCommerce websites using Shopify themes, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify apps.
The role requires someone who can understand business requirements, customize Shopify themes, fix technical issues, improve store performance, and create a smooth shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites.
- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build responsive and mobile-friendly Shopify pages and sections.
- Create and modify homepage, product pages, collection pages, cart pages, and landing pages.
- Install, configure, and manage Shopify apps based on project requirements.
- Fix bugs, layout issues, and theme-related errors.
- Improve website speed, performance, and user experience.
- Set up products, collections, menus, navigation, and basic store settings.
- Work with designers, marketers, and project managers to complete website tasks.
- Ensure the Shopify store is visually clean, functional, and conversion-focused.
- Test websites across different browsers and devices.
- Follow basic SEO and eCommerce best practices.
Requirements:
- Experience with Shopify theme development and customization.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
- Understanding of Shopify sections, templates, metafields, and theme settings.
- Ability to customize existing themes and build custom sections.
- Basic understanding of eCommerce user experience and conversion optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve Shopify-related technical issues.
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Portfolio or previous Shopify work samples preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Shopify 2.0 themes.
- Knowledge of Shopify apps and third-party integrations.
- Basic understanding of SEO, page speed optimization, and analytics setup.
- Experience with product pages, custom landing pages, and checkout-related setup.
- Knowledge of Figma to Shopify conversion is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Git, APIs, or Shopify Plus is an advantage.
