Program Manager - General Projects

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to provide comprehensive support and oversight for a range of general projects, with a particular focus on holistic rural development and health-related initiatives. Reporting directly to the Project Director, this position will leverage strategic, creative, and innovative skills to enhance existing project performance and address emerging challenges. The ideal candidate will work autonomously, exercising discretion and sound judgment on critical matters, to monitor and coordinate the organization's diverse projects. In this role, you will be required to provide expert-level project management and manage budgets ensuring proper allocation of resources.
Responsibilities:
● Evaluate programs, functions, and procedures within the organization to ensure effective program implementation. Identify issues and develop alternative solutions.
● Review and analyze data related to a variety of projects to develop recommendations for achieving program goals.
● Provide direction and support to project teams in various capacities, addressing technical and interpersonal needs, motivating team dynamics, and acting as a liaison, problem solver, and facilitator.
● Perform the full range of the project management cycle – initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and identifying leads for effective project implementation.
● Lead the planning and operations for programs and functions.
● Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance with organizational policies.
● Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
● Manage multiple contending priorities simultaneously in an exciting environment.
● Monitor and track program execution to success by removing blockers and always find the path forward in challenging situations.
● Ensure standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the project team by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics.
● Identify and manage risks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact.
Qualification & Skills
● Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 3+ years relevant experience.
● Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and execute with professionalism and attention to detail.
● Demonstrated experience in program management, ideally in rural development or health.
● Strong project management and relevant technical skills.
● Understanding of current technologies (e.g., AI/GenAI).
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and work independently.
● PMP certification (a plus).
Pay: Up to ₹65,000.00 per month
