We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations for our footwear retail business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels, tracking product movement, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the availability of products across all categories, sizes, and brands.
This role requires strong organizational skills, inventory planning expertise, and the ability to work closely with store operations, sales teams, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inventory operations for the shoe store.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
- Track incoming shipments, returns, transfers, and stock movements.
- Maintain accurate records of footwear inventory, including sizes, styles, and product variations.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory counts.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and resolve stock-related issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing teams for inventory planning.
- Generate inventory reports and provide stock analysis to management.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of products.
- Minimize stock losses, overstock situations, and stock shortages.
- Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving inventory items.
- Implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Support store operations during sales events, promotions, and seasonal launches.
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Inventory Management, Retail Operations, Warehouse Management, or Footwear/Apparel Retail.
- Experience in retail inventory management is highly preferred.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
