QUALIFICATION : DIPLOMA / DEGREE TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY
EXPERIENCE : Minimum 15+ years of experience in Production Planning area. Especially Home textile experience is preferred. Production Planning and Control (PPC) ensures manufacturing operations run smoothly by organizing schedules, managing resources, and monitoring real-time output.
- Demand Forecasting: Predicts future product demand using sales data and market trends.
- Master Production Scheduling (MPS): Creates a clear timeline detailing exact production quantities and delivery dates.
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Calculates raw material needs and schedules inventory deliveries to prevent shortages.
- Capacity Planning: Evaluates machine availability and labor power to ensure the production schedule is realistic.
- Routing and Sequencing: Determines the exact path materials take through the factory floor and the order of operations.
Production Control Roles and Responsibilities Control ensures that actual factory execution matches the established production plan.
- Dispatching: Issues official work orders and releases materials to start production on the shop floor.
- Progress Monitoring: Tracks active manufacturing lines to measure output against target schedules.
- Expediting: Fixes bottlenecks, resolves delays, and manages unexpected machine downtime.
- Quality Control: Inspects finished goods and work-in-progress to meet quality standards.
- Corrective Action: Adjusts shifts, reallocates labor, or updates schedules when disruptions happen.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
