Roles & Responsibilities
- Independently develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for milling, turning, and wire‑cut operations.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD/CAM models, and process sheets to generate precise toolpaths.
- Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and tool life.
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and validate programs with CMM/check sheets.
- Collaborate with production, QA, and toolroom teams to resolve machining issues and improve processes.
- Maintain program documentation, revision control, and ensure compliance with ISO/statutory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in machining workflows, automation, and cycle‑time optimization.
Key Skills
- Proficiency in Mastercam (latest versions) and CNC/VMC/PLC operations.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, machining processes, and tool management.
- Hands‑on experience with troubleshooting and process optimization.
- Familiarity with ISO/FAI documentation and shop‑floor compliance practices.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
- 4 years of proven experience in CNC programming with Mastercam.
- Detail‑oriented, safety‑conscious, and capable of working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
