Technical Architect (Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce)
7–10+ Years | Adobe Commerce (Commerce Cloud), Mirakl, PHP
Role Summary
We are seeking a Technical Architect (Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce) to drive the architecture, technical delivery, and execution of a B2B marketplace platform built on Adobe Commerce Cloud and Mirakl.
This is a hands-on architect and delivery leadership role, requiring strong ownership across system design, integrations, team guidance, project execution, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture of the Adobe Commerce platform
- Design and lead integrations with Mirakl, ERP systems, shipping APIs, and third-party services
- Lead development of complex Magento 2 modules and core order workflows
- Define technical roadmaps, break requirements into execution plans, and track progress
- Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure performance, scalability, and security
- Mentor and guide Magento / PHP developers and ensure delivery quality
- Work closely with stakeholders to plan timelines, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for client and internal teams
Required Experience
- 7–10+ years of hands-on Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce experience
- Strong understanding of Magento architecture, APIs, and system integrations
- Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud, MySQL, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Redis
- Proven experience leading teams and owning delivery from planning to execution
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have
- Experience with Mirakl or marketplace platforms
- B2B eCommerce experience
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with international clients
- Japanese language skills (optional)
