Job Details:
We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to dispense medications accurately, ensure safe medication practices, and provide excellent pharmaceutical care to patients. The role involves inventory management, prescription verification, and adherence to hospital and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications as per valid prescriptions.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, and side effects.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and stock levels.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
- Maintain dispensing records and documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for medication-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of pharmacology and medication safety.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Candidate Profile:
- D.Pharm/B.Pharm with valid State Pharmacy Council Registration.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
- Good communication skills and knowledge of pharmacy operations.
