We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Technical Sales Engineer to promote and sell packaging machinery and automation solutions. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, providing technical solutions, preparing quotations, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating with clients, and achieving sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, online portals, exhibitions, and field visits.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable packaging machinery and automation solutions.
- Conduct technical discussions, machine presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Follow up with prospective customers until order closure.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and service departments for project execution.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with customers.
- Visit customer sites for machine requirement analysis and technical support before sales.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Meet monthly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare daily visit reports, sales reports, and CRM updates.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and coordinate after-sales support.
- Stay updated on competitor products, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Participate in industrial exhibitions, seminars, and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Knowledge of packaging machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of industrial automation is an added advantage.
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- CRM software knowledge preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
