Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Dy. Manager / Assistant Manager – Sales & Business Development to drive domestic sales of our in-house manufactured PCP Airguns across India. The ideal candidate should have strong field sales experience in mechanical engineering products and be capable of independently managing dealer networks, business development, and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of PCP Airguns through dealers, distributors, shooting academies, sports retailers, and institutional customers across India.
- Develop and expand the dealer and distributor network while maintaining strong relationships with existing channel partners.
- Conduct regular market visits, dealer meetings, product demonstrations, and customer interactions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Handle the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, order closure, dispatch coordination, payment follow-up, and after-sales support.
- Prepare sales reports, market intelligence, dealer feedback, and sales forecasts.
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, shooting events, and promotional activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies to increase market penetration and brand visibility.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
Required Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience in lead generation, channel sales, dealer management, business development, and territory sales.
- Good knowledge of CRM, MS Office, email communication, and sales reporting.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Knowledge of shooting sports or PCP Airguns will be an added advantage.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree: B.Com, BBA, BMS, or MBA.
- Minimum 2 years of field sales experience in selling mechanical engineering products.
- Experience in firearms, airguns, sporting goods, defence products, outdoor sports, engineering products, or related industries will be preferred.
