About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled LabVIEW Engineer to join our System Integration and Test Automation team. The selected candidate will be involved in developing, testing, and maintaining automated test solutions for electronic products and systems using NI LabVIEW.
This role offers an opportunity to work on Automated Test Equipment (ATE), data acquisition systems, instrument control, and production test automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain applications using NI LabVIEW.
- Design and implement Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.
- Integrate and control instruments such as:
- Oscilloscopes
- Power Supplies
- Digital Multimeters (DMM)
- USB, RS232, RS485, GPIB, and LAN-based devices
- Develop user-friendly GUI applications for test and measurement systems.
- Perform data acquisition, logging, analysis, and report generation.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in test setups.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and validation teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, test procedures, and user manuals.
- Support production, validation, and deployment activities.
- Optimize existing test applications for performance and reliability.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in NI LabVIEW development.
- Knowledge of data acquisition and test automation concepts.
- Experience with NI VISA, DAQ, and instrument communication.
- Understanding of serial communication protocols and hardware interfacing.
- Basic electronics knowledge and familiarity with measurement systems.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and test circuits.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in ATE, Functional Testing (FCT), or End-of-Line (EOL) testing.
- Knowledge of NI TestStand.
- Exposure to Python, C, or C++.
- Experience with Excel-based reporting, TDMS files, or databases.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols.
