Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Transport Planner to manage day-to-day transport planning
and haulage operations. The role involves driver allocation, route planning, customer coordination, and ensuring
smooth transport execution while maximizing vehicle utilization and maintaining profitability. The ideal candidate
should be organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and confident in coordinating with internal teams,
drivers, and external agencies
Key Responsibilities
● Plan transport operations for the next 24 hours and ensure smooth execution of all scheduled routes.
● Optimize planning by filling empty legs and maximizing vehicle utilization
● Perform cross-checks and system reviews to ensure no transport tasks are missed.
● Monitor route performance and identify areas for operational improvement.
● Assign company and agency drivers for next-day operations.
● Review previous day’s routes for accuracy, efficiency, and driver performance.
● Coordinate with the Cabin/Operations team to confirm route coverage.
● Arrange additional drivers through agency partners whenever required.
● Ensure adequate driver availability for planned deliveries and haulage.
● Book customer loads to maximize route efficiency and reduce empty mileage.
Required Skills & Competencies
● Strong transport planning and logistics coordination skills
● Excellent route planning and scheduling ability
● Good communication and customer handling skills
● Ability to coordinate with drivers, agencies, and internal teams
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy in system planning
● 1–3+ years of experience in transport planning / logistics operations
Working Days & Shift Details
● Working Days: 5.5 days per week.
● Probation Period: 3 months.
● During probation, the employee will be required to work 6 days a week.
● Shift Pattern: Rotational shift
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
