We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented EEG Technician to join our Neurology Department. The candidate will be responsible for conducting electroencephalogram (EEG) tests to assist physicians in diagnosing neurological conditions. The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge, patient-handling skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency EEG procedures as per physician’s orders.
- Prepare patients for EEG tests and explain procedures clearly.
- Apply electrodes accurately and ensure proper signal quality.
- Monitor and record brain activity during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and test reports.
- Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of EEG equipment.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with neurologists and other healthcare staff.
- Assist in long-term monitoring and video EEG if required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Neurophysiology / EEG Technology / Allied Health Sciences.
- Minimum 0–2 years of experience in EEG procedures (Freshers may apply if trained).
- Knowledge of EEG equipment and monitoring systems.
- Basic computer knowledge for report documentation.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
