Job Title: School Driver
Reports To: School Administrator
Job Summary
The School Driver is responsible for safely transporting students and staff to and from school, field trips, and other school-related activities while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and school transportation policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a school bus, van, or other assigned vehicle.
- Transport students to and from school according to designated routes and schedules.
- Ensure student safety during boarding, travel, and disembarking.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and school transportation policies.
- Monitor student behavior and report incidents or concerns to school management.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, mileage, fuel usage, and attendance, as required.
- Assist in emergency situations and follow established safety procedures.
- Attend training sessions and meetings related to student transportation and safety.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably in school transportation.
- Knowledge of road safety rules and vehicle maintenance basics.
- Ability to work with children in a professional and patient manner.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
