Job Title: Team Lead – Planning & Design

About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Team Lead – Planning & Design to lead our planning and design function from our Jayanagar, Bangalore office. You will manage a team, own project timelines, and ensure high-quality design delivery aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the planning and design team day-to-day, including task allocation, mentoring, and performance reviews
- Own end-to-end project planning — timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, operations) to align deliverables with business goals
- Review and approve design outputs for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Identify project risks early and define mitigation plans
- Conduct regular design reviews and team critiques to drive continuous improvement
- Report project status, KPIs, and milestones to senior leadership
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce best practices into team workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- 5–8 years of experience in planning and design, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
- Proficiency in design/planning tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Figma, MS Project, or equivalent
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
