Job Purpose
We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals with strong leadership, organisational and teamwork skills for its Private Credit team based in Gurgaon.
Key Responsibilities
l Calculate and validate monthly and quarterly hedge fund returns, ensuring accurate recording and maintenance within internal portfolio management databases.
l Review and update market values, pricing data, and key pricing attributes for borrowers held within third-party fund.
l Analyze and evaluate the key characteristics of private credit assets and underlying borrower/loan profiles at the time of origination.
l Monitor borrower performance on a quarterly basis, update relevant portfolio metrics, and prepare insightful commentaries explaining significant changes in financial, operational, and credit-related attributes
l Perform data reconciliation and quality checks across multiple investment platforms and databases to ensure the accuracy and integrity of portfolio information.
l Support portfolio monitoring, investment reporting, and performance analysis activities for alternative investments, including hedge funds and private credit strategies.
l Have a good understanding of hedge funds, private debt and private equity funds, fund-of-funds, private debt strategies (Direct Lending, Co-investment).
Key Competencies:
l 4-6 years of relevant experience in investment operations, credit analysis or middle-office roles within asset management or private markets.
l Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Accountant or Master of Business Administration from a top-tier business school.
l Prior exposure to private debt asset class is must.
l Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications; familiarity with automation tools is a must
l Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
l Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.
l Strong communication skills
