* About the Role
Eminence Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring full compliance with tax regulations. You will play a crucial role in monitoring financial health, including reconciling digital storefront transactions and tracking marketing expenditures.
*Key Responsibilities
**Financial Management & Bookkeeping**
* Maintain and update daily financial records, ledgers, and cash flows.
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner.
* Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
**Taxation & Compliance**
* Ensure accurate and timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
* Calculate and process TDS, professional tax, and other statutory deductions.
* Assist with documentation for regulatory and statutory compliance, including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements.
**Payroll & Administrative Accounting**
* Process employee payroll and maintain accurate records of salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
* Manage employee reimbursement and expense claims.
* Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all financial documents.
### Requirements
**Education & Experience**
* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (M.Com or Inter CA/CMA is an added advantage).
* Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of proven experience as an Accountant, Finance Assistant, or in a similar role.
* Prior experience managing accounts for an e-commerce or tech-driven retail business is highly preferred.
**Technical Skills**
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks).
* Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
* Familiarity with reconciling digital payment gateways and e-commerce platforms.
