Telecaller Job Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective students from provided leads.
- Receive and handle inbound enquiry calls professionally.
- Explain course details, fees, batches, certifications, and career opportunities.
- Understand students’ requirements and recommend suitable courses.
- Schedule counselling sessions or demo classes with the admission counsellor.
- Follow up regularly with interested leads through calls, WhatsApp, and SMS.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, enquiries, and follow-up status in the CRM or Excel.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly calling and conversion targets.
- Resolve basic queries and escalate complex issues to the counsellor or Centre Director.
- Collect feedback from students and maintain positive relationships.
- Coordinate with the admissions and marketing teams to improve lead conversion.
- Ensure timely follow-up with old and inactive leads.
- Maintain professional communication and represent the institute positively.
- Keep student information confidential and comply with institute policies.
Key Skills Required
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi (English is an added advantage).
- Pleasant and confident telephone etiquette.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Google Sheets, CRM).
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle objections and close admissions.
- Good time management and multitasking abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
Typical KPIs
- 80–120 calls per day (depending on lead quality).
- Number of qualified leads generated.
- Counselling appointments scheduled.
- Admission conversion rate.
- Follow-up completion rate.
- Student satisfaction with communication.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
