Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and customer account reconciliations.
- Process payments and maintain records of financial transactions.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities as required.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget utilization.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and compliance purposes.
- Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement activities.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proactive, organized, and result-oriented professional.
- MBA (Finance) or relevant finance/accounting certifications will be an added advantage.
