About this opportunity:
Candidate should be able to design, implement, and maintain enterprise storage and data protection solutions. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, data integrity, backup reliability, and disaster recovery readiness across on-premises and cloud environments.
What you will do:

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, DAS)

Administer and maintain backup and recovery systems

Configure and monitor backup jobs, ensuring successful data protection and recovery

Implement disaster recovery (DR) strategies and perform DR drills
-
Manage storage provisioning, capacity planning, and performance tuning
-
Monitor storage systems for availability, performance, and security issues
-
Troubleshoot storage, backup, and restore failures
-
Ensure data retention policies and compliance with regulatory requirements

Work with virtualization and cloud teams for integrated backup solutions

Automate routine tasks using scripting tools

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

5–7 years of experience in storage and backup administration.

Strong understanding of SAN, NAS, RAID, iSCSI, Fibre Channel.

Backup methodologies (full, incremental, differential)

Disaster recovery concepts (RPO, RTO)
-
Hands-on experience with Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM.

Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, Commvault.
