Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Environment Engineer to lead environmental management initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive sustainability programs across plant operations. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring environmental performance, managing pollution control systems, obtaining statutory approvals, and implementing best practices for environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all environmental laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor and manage air, water, noise, and waste management systems.
- Coordinate with government authorities for environmental clearances, consents, and audits.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports, returns, and compliance documentation.
- Oversee operation and maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and pollution control equipment.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk analyses.
- Develop and implement environmental management systems (EMS) and sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor hazardous waste handling, storage, transportation, and disposal activities.
- Organize environmental awareness and training programs for employees.
- Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support ISO 14001 certification activities and internal/external audits.
- Maintain records related to environmental monitoring and compliance.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and safety departments to improve environmental performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering will be preferred.
- Certification in Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001) is an advantage.
Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in environmental management, pollution control, or industrial EHS functions.
- Experience in manufacturing, mining, power plant, steel, cement, chemical, granite, or process industries preferred.
- Knowledge of CPCB/SPCB regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
- Expertise in ETP, STP, air pollution control systems, and waste management.
- Environmental auditing and compliance management.
- Data analysis and environmental monitoring.

- Proficiency in MS Office and environmental reporting tools.

Salary:
As per industry standards and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
