Employment Type: Full-time, 6-Days Working

Reports To: Founders / Leadership Team
Pay: ₹40,000 - ₹50,000 Monthly
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on HR Head to build and manage the complete Human Resources function across three growing organizations:
* Japan India Business Bureau (JIBB)
* DatBanks
* Lith-on Bharat
This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role, ideal for someone who enjoys owning the entire employee lifecycle rather than managing a large HR team. As our organizations continue to scale, you will be responsible for designing HR processes, attracting top talent, ensuring compliance, driving employee engagement, and building a high-performance culture.
The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable interviewing candidates, processing payroll, drafting HR policies, resolving employee concerns, and working directly with leadership on strategic workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across all three organizations.
- Understand hiring requirements with business leaders.
- Create job descriptions and competency frameworks.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, campus hiring, and recruitment agencies.
- Screen resumes and conduct HR interviews.
- Coordinate technical and leadership interview rounds.
- Manage offer negotiations and candidate experience.
- Build a strong employer brand to attract quality talent.
- Maintain recruitment metrics such as Time-to-Hire and Cost-per-Hire.
2. Employee On boarding
- Manage the complete joining process.
- Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation.
- Conduct induction and orientation programs.
- Coordinate with IT, Admin, and Finance for seamless onboarding.
- Ensure new employees are integrated effectively into the organization.
3. HR Operations
- Maintain employee records and HRIS.
- Manage attendance and leave administration.
- Handle employee documentation and personnel files.
- Process employment letters, experience letters, and other HR documents.
- Ensure accurate employee data management.
4. Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing.
- Validate attendance, leave, reimbursements, incentives, and statutory deductions.
- Liaise with Finance for payroll accuracy.
- Manage employee insurance and benefits administration.
- Handle employee payroll queries professionally.
5. Employee Relations & Retention
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees.
- Build trust-based relationships across teams.
- Conduct regular one-on-one employee check-ins.
- Identify retention risks and recommend interventions.
- Address employee grievances fairly and confidentially.
- Support managers in handling people-related challenges.
6. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan employee engagement initiatives,
- Organize celebrations, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys.
- Drive initiatives to improve workplace culture.
- Promote collaboration across all three organizations.
7. Performance Management
- Design and manage performance review cycles.
- Coordinate probation evaluations.
- Support managers in goal setting and feedback.
- Maintain performance documentation.
- Recommend development plans for employees.
8. Learning & Development
- Identify organizational skill gaps.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Maintain training records.
- Develop learning initiatives aligned with business objectives.
9. HR Policies & Compliance
- Draft, implement, and update HR policies.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws.
- Manage statutory HR documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and employment regulations.
10. Employee Exit Management
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Manage resignation and termination processes.
- Coordinate Full & Final settlement.
- Ensure recovery of company assets.
- Analyze attrition trends and recommend improvements.
11. Strategic HR Support
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning.
- Support organization restructuring when required.
- Develop HR dashboards and monthly MIS reports.
- Track key HR metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Recommend process improvements and automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline
- MBA/ PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- 2–4 years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience managing the entire employee lifecycle independently.
- Prior experience in startups, consulting firms, or high-growth organizations is preferred.
