8–12 years in B2B Sales, with at least 5 years in the Fasteners or Automotive Components Industry.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, MBA (Marketing) preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of industrial fasteners and manufacturing processes.
Job Purpose
To drive business growth by developing new customers, managing key accounts, achieving sales targets, and expanding market presence in the automotive, industrial, OEM, Tier-1, Tier-2, aerospace, defence, and export sectors.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and acquire new OEM, Tier-1, Tier-2, and industrial customers.
- Develop strategies to increase market share and business revenue.
- Generate RFQs and convert enquiries into business orders.
- Develop long-term relationships with key customers.
Sales Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare sales forecasts and business plans.
- Monitor order execution and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Dispatch teams.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits and technical discussions.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
Technical Sales Support
- Understand customer drawings, specifications, and fastener standards.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Engineering and NPD teams for new product development.
- Support customers during product approval and PPAP activities.
Quotation & Pricing
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
- Ensure profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
Market Analysis
- Monitor competitors' pricing, products, and market trends.
- Identify emerging opportunities in automotive, EV, aerospace, defence, and industrial sectors.
- Collect market intelligence and share insights with management.
Coordination
- Work closely with:

Reporting
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track order status, collections, pending enquiries, and customer visits.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of cold-forged fasteners, bolts, nuts, screws, washers, and special fasteners.
- Knowledge of automotive standards, PPAP, APQP, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, ERP, and CRM software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
